A History of Bold Innovation

Founded in 2016, Sofwave Medical embarked on a mission to revolutionize the aesthetic industry with innovative, non-invasive solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge proprietary SUPERB™ ultrasound technology and a deep understanding of patient needs – the company introduced Sofwave.
Safe for all skin types, it provides noticeable lift, volume, and reduced skin laxity. This breakthrough technology quickly gained global recognition, redefining the landscape of non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

In 2019, Sofwave achieved a significant milestone in the US with FDA clearance to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Building on this success, the company rapidly expanded its treatment offerings, securing six more FDA clearances in the next four years.

Driven by its unwavering commitment to research and development, the company introduced Pure Impact in early 2024. This groundbreaking device uses bio-electrical muscle stimulation tailored to each patient’s unique needs, delivering noticeable improvement in muscle tone, strength, and firmness.

With an impressive 9 FDA clearances to date, Sofwave continues to set new benchmarks in the industry.

2022
The 5th FDA clearance, for improving the appearance of cellulite, coincided with Sofwave receiving its first U.S. patent.
2023
Release of the new Precise handpiece, activation of Sofwave Smart, the 6th and 7th FDA clearances for acne scars and upper arm laxity, and its 2nd U.S. patent.
2024
The commercial launch of the Pure Impact Muscle Toning Module, with the 8th and 9th FDA clearances for strengthening and toning.
