Medical Clinical Educator
Department: Sales
Reports to: Regional Director of Sales
Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt
As a Medical Clinical Educator, you will manage clinical operations in your assigned territory, focusing on product installations, customer training, clinical complaint resolution, field sales support, and ongoing education. You will work closely with regional sales teams to meet territory sales objectives and maintain clinical efficacy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide training on Sofwave equipment, including installation, operation, and follow-up, to ensure proper usage and effectiveness.
Maintain strong clinical operations within the territory by reinforcing good clinical practices, managing complaints, and ensuring adherence to educational standards.
Support sales efforts through customer marketing activities to drive device usage and pulse pack sales.
Participate in clinical evaluations, demos, and workshops as needed.
Serve as a liaison for field-based clinical research, supporting customer involvement in studies.
Keep updated on industry advancements and competitive devices, especially in laser and energy-based technologies.
Travel extensively (70-85%) for customer accounts, trade shows, workshops, and other field-related activities.
Communicate regularly with the VP of Clinical Education and regional sales teams to coordinate territory activities.
Complete administrative tasks such as documenting clinical account activities in Sofwave’s CRM.
Minimum Qualifications
Required: RN, NP, PA, or Esthetician license; BA/BS preferred.
5+ years in the industry with 2+ years in clinical or healthcare fields, ideally in cosmetics/aesthetics.
Proven training experience within clinical settings, with skills in procedure promotion.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex technical information.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role may require lifting up to 115 lbs. and involves standing, walking, sitting, bending, and other physical activities during extended training sessions, presentations, or events. Reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.
