The Area Sales Manager will drive sales of Sofwave’s innovative aesthetic devices within an assigned territory. This role requires building strong relationships with medical practitioners and key stakeholders, achieving sales targets, and implementing strategies aligned with Sofwave’s brand and messaging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed capital equipment sales quotas within the assigned territory.

  • Use professional and ethical sales techniques to close deals.

  • Acquire comprehensive product knowledge through training and competitive analysis.

  • Generate demand and awareness for Sofwave’s products.

  • Identify prospective customers and build a sales pipeline through leads, company activities, and networking.

  • Engage prospects daily through various channels (calls, texts, emails, video, and in-person visits).

  • Provide technical and product information to prospects, prepare quotes, and close sales.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of quotes and configurations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align efforts with sales objectives.

  • Monitor and share market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity.

  • Negotiate contract and payment details within company guidelines.

  • Support customers post-sale, addressing any issues and providing ongoing support.

  • Partner with Marketing for events and promotional activities.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience selling aesthetic capital equipment preferred; 5+ years overall in sales.

  • Documented successful sales record.

  • Strong understanding of industry and customer challenges.

  • Ability to build lasting customer relationships.

  • Willingness to travel up to 35%.

  • Proven success working with core physicians (dermatologists, plastic surgeons) is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and disciplined in territory management through proactive sales activities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires frequent communication with customers, using hands for documentation and occasional lifting/movement of equipment. Vision requirements include close and distance focus, with noise levels generally low to moderate. A valid driver’s license is required for transporting equipment for demonstrations.
