Dr. Shimon Eckhouse is an inventor, investor and active entrepreneur in the field of medical devices and medical technology. Dr. Eckhouse is the co-founder and investor in more than 20 companies in medical technology and other high-tech areas. The inventor of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology, author of more than 60 US registered patents, hundreds of international patents and author of more than 50 papers in leading refereed journals and conferences. Dr. Eckhouse is the founder of Lumenis (formerly ESC Medical) and Syneron Candela and is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology.

Mr. Louis Scafuri is a long-time industry veteran with a proven track record. Before joining Sofwave™, Mr. Scafuri served as Chief Executive Officer of ZALEA, where he Co-founded the company and led its ascent to become a recognized global digital media platform providing curated fact-checked content and verified expert reviews of cosmetic treatments. Mr. Scafuri has over 30 years of experience at senior leadership level positions, building market-leading organizations and a track record of value creation. Previous positions held include CEO of Syneron Candela, President and COO of GE Marquette Medical Systems and President and COO of ESC Medical Systems (Lumenis).

Mr. Korner joined Sofwave™ from Bellerophon Therapeutics, Inc. a NASDAQ listed clinical-stage biotherapeutics Company focused on the developing therapies in the treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases, where he served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2018. Prior to joining Bellerophon, Mr. Korner served as the Chief Financial Officer of L&R Distributors, between 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Korner served as the Chief Financial Officer of Iluminage Beauty, a medical device Joint Venture between Unilever and Syneron Medical, from 2011 through January 2016. Prior to Iluminage, Mr. Korner held several senior finance roles in Syneron Medical from 2005 through 2011. Prior to Syneron Medical, Mr. Korner served as a Senior Auditor at KPMG. Mr. Korner holds an MBA from Tel-Aviv University, Israel, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Haifa University, Israel and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Genady Nahshon brings over 16 years of experience in the aesthetic medical industry. Before joining Sofwave™, Genady held various senior executive management roles at Syneron Medical, Syneron Beauty, and Iluminage Beauty (JV Unilever Ventures). Genady is the founder of BrightTonix and has more than 15 patents and publications in the medical field.

Dr. Ruthie Amir graduated from Ben Gurion University Medical School in 1989. From 1996-2000, she completed her post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Human Genetics, at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA where she worked on the genetic basis of Rett Syndrome. Between 200-2003 she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Cell Biology, Faculty of Medicine, Technion. From 2008-2017, she served as the director of clinical research and the head of the regulatory department of Syneron Candela. In 2019, Dr. Ruthie Amir joined Sofwave™ Medical as the chief medical officer.

Lina is a seasoned digital marketing expert with vast experience in product development, marketing methodologies & operations. Having occupied a leadership position in fast-paced environments for the last 10 years, Lina is a master in driving rapid growth. At Sofwave™, she leads the digital innovation & transformation, ensuring sound digital strategies, highly engaging user experience and driving business growth across all touchpoints.

Ariel has 20 years of experience in the research and development of medical devices, with special expertise and proven success in the development of high-intensity ultrasound technology for a wide range of medical and aesthetic applications. Arik leads the development of UltraShape's ultrasonic transducer for fat lysis and body contouring. Arik holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical Eng. from The Technion Institute of Technology, Israel.
